Day 1
I was excited to enter the casino, made a lap of the casino floor and was intrigued about all the new games that they have installed since the last time I was there. I took mental notes of which ones peaked my interest the most. But before hitting the slots I decided to hit the tables, try my luck there first. Sat down with my Buddy Dirk at the blackjack table and quickly lost $100 on a $15 table with hands of 19 and 20 while the dealer was drawing out 20’s and 21’s. Left him there, that all he plays, and I mean he will sit on the blackjack tables for 8 hours straight, but I guess he’s smarter than me because he always seems to break even for the weekend. So I got up, found a spot on a $5 three card poker table. Within a couple of hands I hit a straight (such a great feeling when you get that last card needed to make the hand) and then several pairs after that. But from there on my profits dwindled and I ended up even. Decided to try craps ($5 table), used to play it all the time. Was taught a very conservative style of play, One pass line bet ($5) with double odds ($10) and 2 come bets ($5) with double odds ($10) that’s $45 in play. The dice were rolling but never hit my numbers. Went to placing a bet or two, just to hear 7 out on the next roll. Got to roll the bones twice, first time I hit my numbers 2 times, built everything up just to roll that 7. Second time was out in 3 rolls with everything I had out on the table hoping to make a comeback. So that didn’t go so well…
I decided its now or never to go into battle with the Slot Gods. Found my first new machine and quickly lost. Went to the second machine were things started happening and had some great line hits, increasing my winnings up over $200, but I pressed on trying to hit the bonus or free spins to no avail and cashed out at $100. From there the machines just sucked up my cash like I was throwing out a moving cars window. Down about $500 for the night. ($200 on table games $300 on slots) Going to bed at 10pm…ugh!!!
Watching other channels post their wins or even the posts on the YouTube Fan Page, people hitting wins on low bets, people winning every time they put money in the machines, just so frustrating to watch when you can’t even make your money last but a few hours. What could I be doing wrong? I’m putting my money in the slot machine just like everyone else does. Am I just that unlucky? I don’t believe that, I have always been a lucky person. Its just once you get on the losing train its hard as hell to get off! I start off strong with MAX bets or close to that and as I start losing I drop my bet down trying to conserve so I can play longer, but eventually dying a slow death.
When its all said and done #WINNINGAINTEASY and the #SlotGods won this round. Let’s get a good nights sleep and try again in the morning.
